A True Hero

Yesterday evening shortly after 8:00 p.m. I got a call from my parents informing me that our dear Prophet, President Gordan B. Hinckley, had passed away. I was deeply saddened by this news, but I know that President Hinckley is now in heaven with his beautiful wife, Marjorie, and he can finally rest from all his labors. What a true example of enduring to the end.

Presient Hinckley was respected and liked among people of many faiths. On one of the morning talk shows today a female Bishop of another faith was interviewd. She said that when she woke up this morning it felt like a light had gone out over this valley, and that President Hinckly would be sorely missed. I couldn't agree more.

I am so grateful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know President Hinckly was God's Prophet on the earth today. I feel humbled to be on the earth at this time.
