Look Mom.....Two Wheels!!!

Last year for Cannon's birthday we bought him a "Boot Scoot" Bike, which is a bike without pedals. It is supposed to help kids learn how to balance so they never need training wheels. Well, he wasn't quite big enough for the bike and never got the hang of it. So recently we bought him a new bike with training wheels. Of course, once he had a new bike he decided he liked the boot scoot bike better because he suddenly picked up on the whole balancing thing and could zoom around. He never wanted to ride his new bike because the training wheels scared him. He didn't like the "tippy" feeling of the training wheels. So today we decided to take the training wheels off and see if he could balance on his new bike. He immediately got the hang of it and suddenly loved his new bike. It was so cute to see how proud of himself he was! He doesn't turn 4 until next month so I'm a little surprised, but I couldn't be happier. I love him so much I can't stand it!!!!

Here is some footage of his first lap around the park by our house.

I think he is the new record holder in the family for the youngest ever to ride a two wheeler!!! Wow! Could Cannon be more of a stud? Way to go big guy!!

Amazing!
Go Cannon, I guess biking is in his genes. If anyone can ride a two wheeler at age 3 it would be Jasons son.

Wow, that's quite impressive! This year - no training wheels, next year - Tour de France, right? :)
Pam's probably right too, he must get it from his dad.
I've never seen a "boot scoot" bike, but we always seem to be behind the times here it seems...
