Catching Up...

Well I obviously haven't been motivated to do any blogging for a long time. So I figured it was time to do a little catching up. Things have been a little crazy in the Hadley household. A few weeks ago I got released from my calling in the primary presidency, and Jason decided that meant it was time to build a new home. So to make a long story short, our house is up for sale and we are in the beginning stages of building an Ivory home. For me it's bitter-sweet. It will be nice to have a little more space, but I'm really sad to leave this neighborhood and ward. I love it here. Luckily we aren't moving very far, just up the hill from where we are now.
I've also been sick now for over a month. We went to Arizona in April over spring break where I experienced the worst allergies I've had in a long time. To make matters worse, and to make a long story short, I'm pretty sure I picked up Valley Fever while I was there. If you aren't familiar with Valley Fever do some googling. I finally got sick of being sick and went to the doctor on Saturday. $80 for an office visit, and $54 dollars for prescriptions and I hope to be feeling better soon. My sister Jessica, who lives in AZ, has also been really sick. Her doctor did a blood test to confirm that she does indeed have Valley Fever, which makes me even more convinced that I do to because my symptoms are the same. My immune system just doesn't work very well these days, thanks to my kidneys. Jason had symptoms for a week and is fine now, my body just can't kick it. So here's to hoping I can finally start feeling normal again. I'm so sick of being congested and coughing ALL THE TIME. Luckily Valley Fever is not contagious.
Well, here is a little recap of our month:
May 8-9: Phantom of the Opera in Las Vegas
For Mother's Day this year Jason took me to see Phantom in Vegas. Alex, Jason and I also took Elaine as a Mother's day Gift to her. It was so amazing! We sat in the front row right in the center! Thanks Babe!

May 14-15: Slumber Party with Grandma Elaine & Rachel
Grandma Elaine came for a short visit and the girls had a blast hanging out and watching a movie while Cannon and Dad were at the ward Fathers & Sons camp out.

Monday May 17: End of the Year Dance Recital
Savana and Sidney did such a great job in their dance recital. Thank you so much to Grandma Howard, Lauren, Jack, Kate, Sarah, and Popi & Grandma Hadley for coming!!!

Here are the girls with their dance teachers Erika and Rachel!

Wednesday May 19: Savana & Sidney's Gymnastics Exhibition

Savana & Sidney both did such a great job at their first Exhibition Meet. If you look closely at the video below you will see Savana on the beam while Sidney is on the floor.

To top our busy week off Savana had to do a report on Parrots. We had fun finding the fun pictures for her poster. I'm really looking forward to summer because I'm so done with homework and school projects!!!

THE END!

So how was phantom? So jealous. Hey, by the way, Rachel Woffinden is one of Jordan's friends from high school!!! Weird. Where does she teach? You'll have to tell her you're his aunt.

Ill let it slide this time I suppose.
Sidney has some serious moves, I'm impressed.
Sounds super busy and fun.

So sorry you've been sick, I hate respiratory stuff, yuck!
Your girls are quite the little dancers and gymnasts! I wish I had done more with mine at that age, it's so good for them.
I bet Phantom was amazing, how fun!
I know what you mean about school and projects, this week we've had 3 major projects due, I think the teachers are trying to squeeze them in before school is out but it sure puts a lot of stress on the parents!
Hope you feel better soon!

I feel so bad for you being sick. I know that friend has had a nasty time with it. I sure hope you get to feeling better.
Your girls look so darling.
and fun that you went to Phantom. That is on my list of things to do.
